고관절 골관절염에서의 경골근위부 절골술(HTO)의 임상적 고찰

본 연구는 고관절 골관절염 환자에게 적용되는 경골근위부 절골술(HTO)의 임상적 특성, 적응증, 수술 과정 및 치료 효과를 포괄적으로 분석한다. HTO는 퇴행성 관절염으로 인한 다리 변형을 교정하고 체중 부하를 재분배하여 통증을 감소시키는 수술적 접근법이다. 연구는 수술의 적응증, 해부학적 고려사항, 수술 전 평가, 수술 기법, 그리고 수술 후 재활 과정을 상세히 검토하였다. 결과적으로 HTO는 60세 이전 초기-중기 관절염 환자에게 효과적인 대안적 치료법으로 확인되었으며, 인공관절 수술 시기를 지연시키고 환자의 삶의 질을 개선할 수 있는 잠재력을 보여주었다.

This study comprehensively analyzes the clinical characteristics, indications, surgical procedures, and therapeutic effects of High Tibial Osteotomy (HTO) in patients with knee osteoarthritis. HTO is a surgical approach that corrects leg deformities caused by degenerative arthritis and redistributes weight-bearing to reduce pain. The research thoroughly reviewed the surgery's indications, anatomical considerations, preoperative assessment, surgical techniques, and postoperative rehabilitation process. Consequently, HTO was identified as an effective alternative treatment for patients with early to mid-stage arthritis under 60 years old, demonstrating the potential to delay artificial joint surgery and improve patient quality of life.
