본 연구는 변비의 복합적 병태생리, 진단적 접근, 치료 방법 및 간호 중재에 대한 포괄적 문헌고찰을 수행하였다. 변비는 단순한 배변 장애를 넘어 환자의 삶의 질에 심각한 영향을 미치는 다인성 질환으로, 그 메커니즘과 관리 전략을 체계적으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 변비의 원인은 대장 운동성 저하, 직장 출구 폐쇄, 기능성 이상 등 다양한 요인이 복합적으로 작용함을 확인하였다. 특히 개별화된 간호 중재의 중요성과 환자 교육, 생활 습관 개선의 필요성을 강조하였다.

This study conducted a comprehensive literature review on the complex pathophysiology, diagnostic approaches, treatment methods, and nursing interventions for constipation. Constipation was analyzed as a multifactorial disease that significantly impacts patient quality of life, beyond mere bowel dysfunction. The results confirmed that constipation causes include complex interactions of reduced intestinal motility, rectal outlet obstruction, and functional disorders. The study particularly emphasized the importance of personalized nursing interventions, patient education, and lifestyle improvements.
