크룹병의 임상적 특성과 간호중재에 관한 사례연구

본 연구는 크룹병 환아의 임상적 특성과 효과적인 간호중재 방법을 탐색하기 위한 사례연구이다. 2세 4개월 남아의 크룹병 사례를 중심으로 질병의 병태생리, 증상, 진단, 치료과정을 분석하고 간호과정을 적용하였다. 연구 결과, 크룹병은 주로 바이러스 감염으로 인한 후두 및 기관 염증으로, 특징적인 개 짖는 듯한 기침과 호흡곤란을 동반한다. 간호중재는 호흡기 관리, 체온 조절, 수분공급, 감염 예방에 중점을 두었다. 본 연구는 크룹병 환아 간호에 대한 실제적인 임상 지침을 제공한다.

This case study explores the clinical characteristics and effective nursing interventions for children with croup disease. Focusing on a 2-year and 4-month-old male patient, the study analyzed the pathophysiology, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment process of croup, and applied a nursing process. The results revealed that croup is primarily a viral infection causing laryngeal and tracheal inflammation, characterized by a barking cough and respiratory distress. Nursing interventions focused on respiratory management, temperature control, hydration, and infection prevention. This study provides practical clinical guidelines for nursing care of children with croup.
