소프트웨어 프로젝트 관리 도구(MS Project) 적용 성숙도 측정 모델 개발 및 조직 성숙도 향상 방안

본 연구는 SI 프로젝트의 관리 역량 향상을 위해 도입된 MS Project의 적용 성숙도를 측정하고 분석하는 모델을 제시한다. 삼성SDS의 42개 프로젝트에 적용한 결과, 5단계 성숙도 모델(학습, 차트 작성, 의사소통, 공정진척 관리, 위험관리)을 개발하였으며, 1년 이상의 추적 조사를 통해 프로젝트의 성숙도가 점진적으로 상향 평준화됨을 확인하였다. 80여 개 프로젝트에 대한 설문조사 및 인터뷰를 통해 성숙도 향상의 핵심 요인은 기술적 요소보다 인적 요소(PM, 실무자, 고객/협력업체)임을 도출하였다. 연구 결과는 프로젝트 관리 도구의 효과적 도입과 조직 성숙도 향상을 위한 실무적 지침을 제공한다.

This study presents a maturity model for measuring and analyzing the application level of MS Project implemented to improve project management capabilities in SI projects. By applying a five-stage maturity model (Learning, Charting, Communication, Tracking, Risk Management) to 42 Samsung SDS projects, the research confirms progressive improvement in project maturity over one year. Through surveys and interviews of 80 SI projects, the study identifies that human factors (PM, practitioners, customers/partners) are more critical than technical factors for maturity improvement. The findings provide practical guidance for effective implementation of project management tools and organizational maturity enhancement.
