AI 시대 사회복지사의 역할 변화: 국내 적용 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 인공지능 기술이 사회복지 현장에 미치는 영향을 분석하고, 이에 따른 사회복지사의 역할 변화를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 행복e음 시스템의 고도화, 빅데이터 기반 복지 사각지대 발굴, AI 돌봄 서비스, 챗봇 기반 복지상담 등 국내 적용 사례를 검토하였다. 연구 결과, AI 기술의 도입은 사회복지사를 대체하기보다는 역할의 성격을 변화시키는 방향으로 작용하고 있으며, 사회복지사는 행정 담당자에서 데이터 활용자로, 서비스 제공자에서 사례관리 전문가로, 윤리적 조정자이자 지역사회 네트워크 조정자로서의 역할이 강화되고 있음을 확인했다. 다만 디지털 격차, 개인정보 보호, 인간적 관계 약화 등의 문제점이 존재하며, 이를 해결하기 위해 사회복지사의 디지털 역량 강화와 윤리 교육이 필요함을 제시했다.

This study aims to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence technology on social welfare practice and identify the role changes of social workers accordingly. Domestic application cases including the advancement of the Happiness e-um system, welfare blind spot discovery based on big data, AI care services, and chatbot-based welfare counseling services were examined. The research findings indicate that the introduction of AI technology changes the nature of social workers' roles rather than replacing them. Social workers' roles are being strengthened as data utilizers, case management professionals, ethical coordinators, and community network coordinators. However, issues such as digital divide, personal information protection, and weakening of human relationships exist. To address these challenges, enhancement of digital competencies and ethical education for social workers are proposed.
