순자의 생애와 사상: 전국시대 유학의 재조명

본 연구는 전국시대 유학자 순자의 생애와 사상을 심층적으로 탐구하여, 그동안 유교에서 이단시되었던 순자의 사상적 가치를 재평가하고자 한다. 순자의 성악설, 예론, 정치철학을 분석하여 그의 사상이 유가 전통을 계승하면서도 당대의 현실적 문제를 해결하고자 했던 독창성을 밝힌다. 특히 인간 본성에 대한 그의 관점, 사회 교화 방법, 그리고 이상적인 통치 방식에 대한 그의 견해를 심도 있게 고찰함으로써 순자 사상의 진정한 의미를 조명한다.

This study aims to deeply explore the life and thought of Xunzi, a Confucian scholar in the Warring States Period, and reevaluate his intellectual value, which had been considered heterodox in Confucianism. By analyzing Xunzi's theory of human nature, ritual theory, and political philosophy, the research reveals the originality of his thought in inheriting the Confucian tradition while seeking to resolve the practical problems of his time. By examining his perspectives on human nature, social cultivation methods, and ideal governance, the study illuminates the true meaning of Xunzi's philosophy.
